How do I get mamas and papas discount?
Coupons are codes and barcodes used to add discounts to transactions. Each coupon can have multiple codes, Carrefour Promo Code, and each code can have its own effective date.
Essentially, coupons are an extra check on top of discounts. The coupon provides the required coupon codes and barcodes along with date ranges for those codes. The coupon also provides the optional usage limits and properties required by the customer. The discount provides a set of products for which the coupon is valid. Discount price groups provide a set of customers, channels, or catalogs for which the coupon is valid.
The coupon is created with automatic parameters, which you can later change on the "discounts, coupons, certificates" page.
Limit coupons
Coupons can be configured as limit coupons. The usage limit can be set per client or per channel, as well as a global limit. This limit applies when a code or barcode is entered or scanned at POS or during sales order entry.
The limit is applied to the coupon code on the coupon. For example, a one-time coupon that has two coupon codes can be used twice, once for each coupon code. Each coupon code can be activated independently of the second code.
Coupons can be used through any sales channel, however, for call center orders, coupons are limited to only those call center orders for which the Call center order completion option is enabled. If not enabled, Mamas and Papas Promo Code, only certain types of coupons can be used in call center orders.
Working
with coupons
You must create a discount and coupon separately. They then need to be linked by selecting a discount on the coupon page. After you link a discount coupon, several fields on the discount page become read-only because their values are determined by the coupon settings. These fields include fields for status and standard date ranges.
Essentially, coupons are now an additional check on top of discounts. The coupon provides coupon codes and barcodes along with date ranges, usage limits, and the property the customer needs. The discount provides a set of products for which the coupon is valid. Discount price groups provide a set of customers, channels, or catalogs for which a coupon is valid.
Impact of
partial updates on coupons
Coupon functionality relies on several separate elements. The Commerce Headquarters (HQ) and channel can be partially updated in various components. As such, it is important to understand how a partial update affects the functionality of coupons in general.
- The central office has been partially updated, but the Commerce Scale Unit and POS are not updated. When the central office is updated, the coupon and discount pages are updated, and the commercial pricing subsystem is also updated. If only one of these two components is updated, some pages in Commerce will not match the pricing data. Therefore, when calculating discounts, unexpected discount values or errors may occur.
- HQ is updated, but Commerce Scale Unit and POS are not updated (N-1). Since not all stores can be upgraded at the same time, it is recommended that you upgrade your headquarters before upgrading stores. In scenario N-1, the new coupon-related functionality will not be available in stores that have not yet been updated. For example, in the functionality of coupons, there are "exception" lines. If you use exclusion lines at a discount, Mothercare Promo Code, they will not be applied in the store that uses the earlier version.
- HQ is not updated, but Commerce Scale Unit and POS are updated (N + 1). Since the pricing engine in the Commerce Scale Unit is capable of handling old discount codes when calculating pricing, the upgrade should not affect functionality in this scenario.
